Small piece of Iridium used in the production of there 2012 superhero ensemble film The Avengers. When Thor’s evil brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), gains access to the unlimited power of the energy cube called the Tesseract, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of S.H.I.E.L.D., initiates a superhero recruitment effort to defeat the unprecedented threat to Earth. Joining Fury’s “dream team” are Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).

When under control of Loki, Hawkeye steals a large tube of a mineral called Iridium, needed for the machine to open a portal at the end of the film. This is a small piece that was used alongside others when the container was opened for the mineral to be placed into the machine. This item is made of resin and painted a very realistic metallic silver. This piece measures around 1″ x .5″ and remains in excellent, production used condition.
