Description
Original detailing used on the large scale miniature of the alien pyramid ship featured in the production of the 1994 science fiction classic Stargate. In modern-day Egypt, professor Daniel Jackson (James Spader) teams up with retired Army Col. Jack O’Neil (Kurt Russell) to unlock the code of an interstellar gateway to an ancient Egypt-like world. They arrive on a planet ruled by the despotic Ra (Jaye Davidson), who holds the key to the Earth travelers’ safe return. Now, in order to escape from their intergalactic purgatory, Jackson and O’Neil must convince the planet’s people that Ra must be overthrown.
This detailing can be seen on the outer ship section once it is in the final stage siting atop the pyramid. This item is made of cast resin and features a “snake” tail like design with raised detailing that matches the rest of the alien ship. This item is painted gold with bronze detailing and a metallic red paint scheme running down the middle. This piece had a flat back where it was attached to the miniature, shows slight wear from use in the film but remains in excellent, production used condition.
