Set fo two pieces of original concept artwork made for use in the television show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as well as the film Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. This set featured two hand drawn and colors images of the small Klingon knife weapon, the D’k Tahg and it’s sheath. The artwork for the knife, as originally designed for Star Trek III by Rick Sternbach features a front and side view, this piece is a photocopy of the original but has been inked by hand by the artists, and features notes as well as a small attached paint color with number, later to be used to paint the final product. This set also features an original concept artwork page depicting the design of the Sheath used for the knife is the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Sins of the Father”. This piece is hand drawn in pencil on graph paper by costume designer Robert Blackman and colored with ink. Each item measures 11″ x 17″ and remain in excellent, production used condition.
