Description
An original Talarian Freighter sign used in the production of the classic science fiction series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Featuring a bigger and better USS Enterprise, this series is set 78 years after the original series — in the 24th century. Instead of Capt. James Kirk, a less volatile and more mature Capt. Jean-Luc Picard heads the crew of various humans and alien creatures in their adventures in space — the final frontier.
This piece can be seen in the season one episode entitled “Heart of Glory” when the Enterprise sends an away team to investigate possible life signs on a heavily damaged cargo ship, the Talarian freighter “Batris”, which was found inn the Neutral Zone. This piece is made of pressed wood and brown in color with rounded edges and holes drilled in each corner for hanging on set. The sing has green detailing on the front and shows scuffs and scrapes from use in the episode but remains in excellent, production used condition. This piece measures 17″ x 24″ x 1″.
