Star Trek: The Motion Picture Original Un-used Model Decal Sheet

1 in stock

An original sheet of un-used decals made for use in the production of the 1979 classic Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Admiral Kirk resumes command of the Starship Enterprise in order to seize, examine, and hopefully stop a destructive space shuttle that is spotted approaching the Earth.

This sheet of decals was created by the model making team under the supervision of Jim Dow and Chris Ross who created the large filming miniature for the screen. The model, which would be expertly painted, would be finished with the water slide decals. This sheet features various versions of the Starfleet lettering in white and blanc and black and red. Also included are long pin-striping decals and round pin-striping which would be used around docking ports. These decals are still intact on their original backing and show use from storage over the years such as small rips, foldings and slight discoloration. This set measures 27″ x 20″ and remains in excellent, production made condition.
