Description
Original Jem’ Hadar Battle Cruiser Bridge Panel featured in the production of the science fiction series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. A spin-off of `Star Trek: The Next Generation’, `Deep Space Nine’ is set on a space station orbiting the planet Bajor. This time, Commander Benjamin Sisko is in charge of a diverse crew. But unlike other `Star Trek’ series, there’s no USS Enterprise to help them. Sisko and the crew must fight off rival alien species who want control of Deep Space Nine because of its strategic position close to a wormhole, which allows speedy travel to the far reaches of space.
This piece can clearly be seen in various scenes of the Jim’ Hadar ships bridge and was used to access ships controls. This oval-shaped black acrylic panel is taped with green and purple backing resembling touch screen buttons that illuminate when backlit. Hanging holes are drilled in the top, bottom, and sides. The panel exhibits scratching, adhesive residue on the reverse, and tearing to the backing where a separate component was removed by production. This piece measures 14″ x 9″ x .5″ and remain in excellent, production used condition.
