Description
Original Klingon Comm Badge featured in the production of the 1993 science fiction spinoff series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. A spin-off of `Star Trek: The Next Generation’, `Deep Space Nine’ is set on a space station orbiting the planet Bajor. This time, Commander Benjamin Sisko is in charge of a diverse crew. But unlike other `Star Trek’ series, there’s no USS Enterprise to help them. Sisko and the crew must fight off rival alien species who want control of Deep Space Nine because of its strategic position close to a wormhole, which allows speedy travel to the far reaches of space.
This signature style badge can be seen adorned by every Klingon throughout the series, and carried on into the films such as Star Trek: Generations. This piece is cast in resin and features the signature Klingon crest raised on the outside. It is painted in gold and black with silver details and has been weathered by the production to appears aged. The back features a piece of black Velcro and the letters “DS” written in black ink denoting its use in “Deep Space Nine”. This item remains in excellent, production used condition.
