Description

Collection of three original conceptual art pieces used in the production of the 2007 Sony superhero film Spiderman III. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) and M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) seem to finally be on the right track in their complicated relationship, but trouble looms for the superhero and his lover. Peter’s Spider-Man suit turns black and takes control of him, not only giving Peter enhanced power but also bringing out the dark side of his personality. Peter must overcome the suit’s influence as two supervillains, Sandman and Venom, rise up to destroy him and all those he holds dear.

This custom framed display features three pieces of artwork for the creation of the front chest spider featured on the Spiderman suit. These were created by ADI (Amalgamated Dynamics) and are the final updated design used in the film. The top piece is a hand drawn glyph in pencil on vellum, the second is the final photocopy and the third is a clear plastic transparency with a black printed glyph. The middle piece is labeled “Front Spider 12/19/01” and the third is labeled “ADI Cast Sample 1/6/03”. This piece has been framed behind glass with a custom but red matte and a black frame. This item measures 40″ x 15″ and remains in excellent, production used condition.

This item is accompanied by an official Prop Block COA (Certificate of Authenticity).
