Description
Armor plating featured in the 2008 Marvel Studios superhero film Iron Man. After being held in a terrorist cave, Tony Stark, actor Robert Downey Jr. escapes his captors with a custom made armored suit, and later revises his design to become the superhero known as Iron Man. This large piece of faux armor is made of fiberglass and resin and has been painted an aged chrome. This section was made by the production for use on the Mark I armor and for the scene where Tony crashes in the desert after his escape and his armor is scattered around him. This item was originally sold through the officially license studio auction and remains in excellent, production used condition.
