1 in stock

Crew patch and glass shard used in the production of the 1977 Steven Spielberg classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Science fiction adventure about a group of people who attempt to contact alien intelligence. Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) witnesses an unidentified flying object, and even has a “sunburn” from its bright lights to prove it. Roy refuses to accept an explanation for what he saw and is prepared to give up his life to pursue the truth about UFOs. This set features a small shard of “glass”, made from a piece of tinted plastic and was used on set when the alien craft are floating in front of the house and the glass windows shatter, exploding small shards all over. Included is a small crew patch, brown in color with black stitching reading “CE3K” on one side and “Sky watchers” on the other. This set comes directly from a crew member who worked on the film and remains in excellent, production used condition.
